God Keeps His Promises
Today's Through the Bible Reading: Joshua 19:32-21:45
The LORD gave them rest all around...Not a word failed of any good thing which the LORD had spoken...All came to pass. Joshua 21:44, 45
God is faithful. He ALWAYS KEEPS HIS PROMISES. We’ve seen throughout the Old Testament, how God made promises, gave prophesies, and told Israel to watch as He remained faithful. So to we have the privilege of watching as God unfolds history and we eagerly anticipate His return.
For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus We Shall Always Be With The Lord. Therefore comfort one another with these words. 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
What a good day to remember God’s promises:
He promised to send us a savior - He did (Jn 3:16)
He promised to rise from the dead - He did (1 Cor 15:4)
He promised to send His Spirit - He did (Acts 2)
He promised to come again - He WILL
Behold, He cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen. Revelation 1:7
