Today’s Bible Reading: Daniel 4, 7

We can proclaim like Daniel, “It is my pleasure to tell you about the miraculous signs and wonders that the Most High God has performed for me. How great are His signs, how mighty His wonders! His kingdom is an eternal kingdom; His dominion endures from generation to generation.” (Daniel 4:2, 3)

God does wonders in our lives and writes stories beyond our dreams. He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger (Ps 103:8).  He warns us when we're going astray and gives ample opportunity for repentance.

That was the message Daniel delivered to King Nebuchadnezzar in today's reading. But King Nebuchadnezzar did not respond to God's goodness. Hence, we’ll see the results of his pride and God’s chastisement.  As they always do, pride and arrogance brought Nebuchadnezzar instability and unclear thinking.

Let's be humble proclaimers of God's goodness like Daniel and stay far away from "Nebbie" traits like pride and arrogance.

But He giveth more grace. Wherefore He saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble. James 4:6
