Practical Provision

Today’s Through the Bible Reading: Matthew 17:24-27; Matthew 18:6 – 19:2; Matthew 8:18-22; Matthew 11:20-24; Mark 9:38-10:1; Luke 9:49- 10:20

Today’s reading is full of practical passages, comforting truths, and revelations regarding eternity. I love the fact that our Lord is so practical and cares about our daily life! Nothing is too big or too small and He cares about EVERY aspect of our daily life (even taxes! Mat 17:24-27).

Jesus not only addresses the principle of the matter, but provides provision for the practical. I'm so thankful that He doesn't just instruct me by telling me right from wrong, but then holds my hand and walks me through the lesson, providing every need through it.

In today’s reading Jesus again provides for His disciples, comforts us with assurances that He is a good shepherd, warns us of sin, speaks of the reality of hell, tells us to love one another, to forgive one another, and sends His disciples out to proclaim His coming.
