Restored!

Today’s Through the Bible Reading: Acts 3:1- 5:16

Only through Jesus are crippled lives restored and broken hearts made whole. Jesus brings life.  We were born into sin which brings death, but Jesus conquered both. Through His blood, we are healed (1 Pt 2:24). Like the crippled man in today’s Bible reading, accepting Jesus as Lord and Savior, we’re new creations, healed, re-born, renewed, and restored!

By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through Him that has completely healed him, as you can all see. Acts 3:16

A touch from Jesus does not go unnoticed – it brings change. Even in today’s reading, Peter and John healed a crippled man in Jesus’ name and the people stood, stared, and were amazed by the changed man. What transformation has Jesus made in your life?

Our lives have been redeemed, bought with the precious blood of Jesus; restored to newness of life. Praise the Lord we are new creations (2 Cor 5:17). Lives that were once broken are re-built and strengthened.

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2 Cor. 5:17

Remember who we are because of what HE DID. Remember that great day when Jesus saved you and made you new. Don't forget His mighty deeds and His great love for you (Ps 78:4).
