What’s Better than Great Riches?

Today's Through the Bible Reading: Psalms 28, 39, 41, 42, 43; 2 Samuel 16:16-17:23

Abbreviated Reading: Psalm 28, 39, 42

There is such strength and joy to be drawn from the truth in God's Word.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to Him in song. Psalm 28:7

God's Word is everlasting (Ps 119:144); its compared to great riches (Ps 119:14); its better than gold and silver (Ps 119:72); sweeter than honey (Ps 119:103); holds wondrous things (Ps 119:18); and invokes awe (Ps 119:120).

God's Word does not contain any idle content. There is wisdom to be learned from every passage, so pick up your Bible and read along as we journey through, cover to cover.
