Happy Valentine’s Day friends! Imagine, an entire holiday celebrating love, that’s today… and our love story is the greatest ever told.

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

Jesus came, died, and rose again. As if that’s not enough, He is full of compassion, pursues us with His great love, and has a plan and purpose for each of us.

God’s relentless care and faithfulness to Israel was a precious picture of Jesus’s love for us!

In today’s reading we see how God cares about the details. He gave Israel detailed instructions on how the tabernacle was to be constructed. He had a vision with great purpose – the tabernacle was to be a picture of our relationship with Him and a shadow of what Jesus would accomplish thousands of years later.

God is the same yesterday, today, and forever – He cared about the details then and He cares about the details now. We are His sanctuary, a living temple. He is building, instructing, and has a plan with great purpose!

For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Jeremiah 29:11
