The Perfect Time to Rejoice

Today’s Through the Bible Reading: 1 Peter 2-5; Jude 1

Christmas is the perfect season to REJOICE! I mean truly rejoice - to put on joy like you would a carefully picked out outfit. Regardless of your actual physical circumstances, whether good or bad, Jesus gave us an abundance to rejoice over! You see, He changed our actual circumstances. He made Himself a man and took our filthy rags upon Himself (1 Pt 2:24); He robed us in His righteousness (Isa 61:10); He gave us a crown of beauty instead of ashes; the oil of joy for our mourning; He replaced our despair with praise (Isa 61:3); He replaced our condemnation with a new and living way (Rom 7:6); our spirit, which was dead, He brought to life (Rom 8:10); and He's given us Heaven (Jn 14:2, 3).
