God Prepares Us

Today’s Through the Bible Reading: Acts 21:1-23:11

In today’s reading we find Paul saying farewell to dear friends, willing to follow the Spirit despite the danger ahead – Paul sets sail for Jerusalem. Today’s reading is full of practical passages, examples of sharing our faith, comforting truths in the midst of opposition, and revelations regarding eternity.

As God writes His Word on your heart and guides your steps, REMEMBER... we are not following a whim into the great unknown! We are TRUSTING the Good Shepherd who is preparing a place for us and we KNOW exactly where we're heading! Similar to what we studied and considered yesterday, God is not careless concerning His plans toward us.

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me. Hebrews 13:5-6
