Today’s Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 8:1-11:1
Wow, here we are close to wrapping up November. I certainly hope you've enjoyed tracking through the Bible with us Cover2Cover. We've journeyed from a perfect creation to the fall of man. From Genesis to Malachi, we read hundreds of promises regarding a coming redeemer who would restore man’s fellowship with God. There have been shadows and pictures of the promised Savior woven throughout the lives and stories of the Old Testament. We've read as generation after generation looked forward to the promised Messiah. Our minds filled with these promises, we delved into the gospels and saw Jesus, the Perfect Lamb of God. We read how He healed the sick, caused the deaf to hear and the lame to walk. We took note of His perfect fulfillment of prophecy and all God’s promises kept through His Son, Jesus.
Now we’re reading Paul’s letters to the early church. These new Believers have put their hope and trust in Jesus and are learning to walk in the Spirit and what it means to be a faithful disciple of Christ.
So let's dig into God’s Word today, listen to what the Spirit whispers, and learn what it means to walk as His children who have put their hope and trust in Jesus Christ.
