"Surely you desire truth in the inner parts, you teach me wisdom in the inmost place." Psalm 51:6

Our minds are a spiritual battle ground and here the Psalmist cries out to God for wisdom and truth in his inner parts. What a good prayer! May we be people who are absorbed in truth: the truth of God's Word; the truth regarding our position in Christ; the truth relating to God's ways and standards; the truth of Heaven and our eternal life!

LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness, and speaketh the truth in his heart. Psalm 15:1, 2

Only God can create a clean heart filled with truth. Try as we may, we cannot clean ourselves up. We need JESUS, we need to be washed in His Word daily.

...be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. Romans 12:2

Make God's Word your daily delight and be transformed by the renewing of your mind.
