Today's Bible Reading: 1 Chronicles 27 - 29; 1 Kings 1:1-27

Consider what it means to serve the Lord with a loyal heart. Do we have a loyal heart towards God, His Word, who He is, His ways? It's a good thing to ponder.

"...know God... serve Him with a loyal heart and with a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts... If you seek Him, He will be found by you.... Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you...Be strong and do it." 1 Chronicles 28:9, 10

Only God can search hearts and His Word is a discerner of our thoughts and intentions (Heb 4:12). He strengthens the weak and gives boldness to the passive. He has chosen you and we love Him because He first loved us (1 Jn 4:19).

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. Ephesians 6:10
