“DELIGHT yourself in the Lord and He will give you the desires of your heart.” Psalm 37:4 The joy of growing closer and closer to our Savior is the greatest happiness this world has to offer. As God becomes our daily delight, we find our life a satisfying one and our heart's desires fulfilled.

Knowing that we are justified (just-if-I'd never sinned) brings peace; but happiness (our desires accomplished) comes by way of sanctification - being set a part, becoming more like Jesus Christ and less like _____ (me).

God's way is pure, peaceable, and full of LIFE. God promises that if we hunger and thirst for righteousness, we WILL be filled (Matt 5:6). If our DELIGHT is in the LORD we WILL be filled. So today, delight yourself in the Lord; tell Jesus you love Him; let Him reign supreme in your heart and He will grant that desire and take His place as lover of your soul.
