Today’s Bible Reading: Proverbs 24 - 27

We’re currently reading through Proverbs. One of my favorite verses is in today's reading:

Through wisdom is an house builded; and by understanding it is established: And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches. Proverbs 24:3, 4

Jesus is wisdom personified. Our homes must be built on Him. He is the solid rock that anchors our lives (Matt 7:24-27). As we understand His counsel and walk in His ways, our homes are established.

Job tells us, "the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding." Job 28:28

The book of Proverbs provides quite a dose of wisdom. May we not just hear wisdom, but understand it as well.
