The Man Dressed in Linen
Jesus Seen in Ezekiel
Today’s Through the Bible Reading: Ezekiel 10 – 13
“And He spake unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels…and fill thine hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims…” Ezekiel 10:2
How would you explain the beauty of the color blue to a person who cannot see? Or how do you describe the delightfully sweet sound of a song bird to someone who has never heard? You’d be hard pressed to articulate the wonder of such experiences to a person who doesn’t have a point of reference. And I’m willing to bet this is how Ezekiel felt as he tried to convey his vision of heaven to mere mortal men. The truth is, we are like blind and deaf men and women when it comes to the glory of heaven that awaits (1 Cor. 2:9).
