Promised Salvation

Today’s Through the Bible Reading: Luke 17:20-18:14; John 7

But God is my King from long ago; He brings salvation on the earth. Psalm 74:12 

Indeed God did bring salvation on the earth! Humbling Himself, He became a man to die and pay the price we owed. Inspired by the Holy Spirit, the Psalmist in Psalm 74 writes of the coming Redeemer. Hundreds of years later, John the Baptist would proclaim our Redeemer's entrance with a glorious introduction: "Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!" Jn 1:29
